This week the Manchester shopping centre, the Trafford Centre has played host to a record breaking interactive MINI video installation.
The installation organised by MINI UK, is touring the country to promote the all new 4 door MINI Countryman and break the record for the highest number of people in a MINI by projecting video of curious MINI fans onto the car.
Visitors to the Trafford Centre were encouraged into a video booth where they are made to look like they are sat and fighting for space in a very full car. The video is played back on to screens that have replaced the windows on a full sized replica MINI Countryman giving the impression of a ‘how many people can you get in a MINI’ experiment.
A Trafford Centre shopper and MINI fan said, “It was a fun thing to do in a break between shops and the car looks great with the footage of lots of people inside. It was good to get some info on the MINI Countryman too!”
The installation attracted a large crowd and the response to the new 4 door MINI Countryman was very positive.
